Magnet Creative is looking for a few interns to do some local neighbourhood market research and postcard placement for fashion designer Annie Thompson. This is a 6-week part-time project, with flexibility in timing and a simple updated report to be sent in every two weeks. Preference will be given to students of fashion-related post-secondary programs for co-op hours.
 
Duties include:

  • Retail updates on fashion, interior and beauty stores (openings and closings) and list of types of stock
  • Postcard placement in local coffee shops, doctor’s offices, yoga studios, health centres, etc.
  • Report to be sent every two weeks on retail updates and postcard distribution
  • Estimated 2 – 4 hours per week per neighbourhood (you can signup for more than one neighbourhood)

  • Market research
  • Retailer knowledge
  • Strategic patterning
